Stay Quirky this Summer with Indo-western Fashion!

Get experimental & Style up the Diva in you with Biba Summer Collection!

As the mercury is soaring, one may find it difficult to stay put in the scorching heat. Well, there is nothing much we can do about the summers, but there is a lot that can be done about your low mood! Enjoy the summer’s fashion with some quirkiness to prep up your moods and go ethnic this summer to stay comfortable yet stylish!

Ethnic reminds me of the quirky outfits at BIBA! Recently I was invited to the nearby BIBA outlet to take a look at their latest summer collection and it had everything my Summer wardrobe could ever ask for. From fun printed palazzo to ethnic skirts, tribal prints, quirky motifs and summer staple crushed cotton skirts. One thing I totally love about this brand is that we can do so much with the different styles and print and get experimental with the ethnics. Here are some of my tips to pair up your favorite ethnic wear for a lovely Indo-western Boho-chic look that’s comfortable yet trendy.

Go Print on Print!

Print on Print Style

Mixing two different types of prints together to bring out a fresh look from two different ethnic outfits. Use your vibrant colored skirt with a trendy printed top and accessorize yourself with some bohemian handicraft handbags. Quirk up the style quotient with a pair geek glasses & messy bun and you are ready to rock the summers. Pairing up your aztec prints with monochrome is something that never goes wrong, rather than an all white or all black look this summer opt for a Monochrome aztec!

Style It Indo-western!

Indo-western Mix & Match

Indo Western outfits are the most coveted ones in Summers, especially since they allow you the freedom from Duppattas and messy salwar. Indo western has always been the best work-wear ever for me! Pair up your tunics & kurti’s with palazzo pants or trousers and add a cute jacket over it to get the perfect Indo-western look! Add some fun stone accessories & beaded bracelets to your look and you are ready to head office!

Colour Block Your Summers!

Colour Blocking Ethnics

Colour blocking has always been a treat in the summer! With its vibrant colours the Summer collection provides an array of colours to mix and match. Experiment with Mixing prints and contrasting colours to bring out an ideal summer getaway outfit. Use Solid colours to make a bold statement. Combinations like Mustard Yellow and Scarlet Pink never go wrong, pair it with a pair of Blue Chappals and matching bag for your Day out this summer. A simple style tip to keep in mind is choosing primary colours that are bright and contrasting like blue with green or yellow with green, Blue with pink or Yellow with Pink. These are some of the colour combos that work well with Indian Outfits.

Matching Separates!

Matching Seperates

Matching Separates have been a huge hit this year in the western wear and can work wonders even in traditional Indian outfits. Going out all matchy matchy in single colour with different prints and layering brings a fresh take to your boring outfit. Try pairing up same colored tops with bottom and matching accessories, make sure you do not select some heavily printed or too much busy outfits. The idea behind is to break the monotony by using separates yet stay colour coordinated!

Asymmetrical Dresses!

Asymmetrical Dresses

Want to go out and about with Experimenting? Here is your chance. Pick up an asymmetrical top or a poncho to be layered with tapering leggings and accessorize with a charming hand bag! This look never goes wrong. Asymmetric hemlines have been here since long, this year it is more about layering with freestyle kaftans and ponchos.

With these few experimental tricks in mind, I am sure you will rock the summer blues with lots of Colours and Hues!
