2015 Fashion trend, Box pleated Mid length Skirt by OASAP and Vintage Trench-coat from Rosegal
Hello girls, today I am back with an OOTD post channelizing two of the Top trends of Spring 2015, Mid-length skirts and Vintage Coats. This year’s Spring Summer collection is nothing like easy breezy summer dresses, but a lot more style, elegance and well tailored constructive silhouettes bringing in a lot of Vintage to rave about. In case you have missed out, check out our spring summer Trend Report.
Pleated Skirts remind me of my school days. We used to have a box pleated skirt as our uniform and I used to adore it. I still remember ironing the box pleat religiously every day. When I chanced upon this bright red box pleat skirt I could not stop myself from thinking of yesteryear and it exactly does that to you when you don it. It makes you feel as if you have donned some vintage garment and stepped back into the 80’s.
I paired it with a huge polka dot crop top in black and white making my skirt do all the talking 😉
Chancing up on the Vintage effect, I decided to pair it up with a navy blue retro Trench-coat to complete the look. It was mid February when I took these pictures and thus the over-coat was handy.
