The Versace Haute Couture Fashion show winter fall 2012-13 as described by The Wall Street Journal, “This season’s collection was punctuated with garments made from horizontal strips of patent leather. Waistlines were clinched with thick belts or held in with corsets. Dresses were in pastel tones with ivories, pinks and mint greens. Certain fabrics incorporated tarot card prints – moons and suns—with a surrealist-inspiration theme. Special attention was given to shoulders and backs with a scooping V showing more flesh behind than in front, or shoulder straps meeting in the center of the models’ backs.”
