Frieda Pinto outshone at Cannes film festival 2012 | Indian Celebrity Fashion Trends
The Best thing about the annual film festival Cannes 2012 is that it has brought out the best amongst our actresses for the Red-carpet appearances and this falls quite true for Frieda Pinto, who has out-shone various “A-lists” Celebrities at Cannes with her gorgeous and fresh appearances.. Either Its me or its a new stylist she has hired, but I can’t stop observing the various successful and Impressive looks that she has flaunted till now!!!
First off, she blew me away with her choice of this beautiful Micheal Angel Gown for the opening ceremony.. The Peplum, the Pastels and the High slit.. It has every element that has been in the fashion trends of summer 2012 runways… and quite surprisingly the combination of all these doesn’t make it look over-board.. The pink combined with peplum and the multicolor crystal encrusted bodice separated with a sleek silver belt gives the dress such a fresh and vibrant look, and the smart usage of minimal accessories with just the emeralds and silver Platforms completes her look perfectly..
For the dinner she was amongst the very few celebrities who chose to change and for the better I’d say!! She decided to work a black sequined Versace Gown with a thigh high slit (Angelina beware!!) The sexy combination of sheer and sequin does work for her petite figure, giving her the oomph enough.. however I would have preferred a sleeveless one instead of those long sleeves.. but she manages to carry the look quite well with candy pink lipstick and black pumps enough for us to avoid the slightest flaw if any…:)
So far so Good!! But my favourite of all the three has to be the unearthly divine lime green Atelier Versace gown from the Spring summer collection 2012 she wore at the premiere of De Rouille et D’os. The startling combination of the lace and the Swarovski crystal embellished skirt with the thigh high slit (Again!! she sure knows how to pep up her sexiness) the double gold-lined sculpted detail on hip (Peplum is it?? ) looking divine
