The Food met Fashion and Fun at the latest event in the Capitol at Asian Kitchen, New Delhi. Where Designer Swati Mehrotra (Swati Modo) along with Mr. Sanjay Chadha (Asian Kitchen) hosted a “Brunch with the art of Food Making and Shoe Making” where guests explored their culinary skills donning a chef-cap cooking up some delicious dishes.. as well as did some creative Shoe sketching. Excitement was on its peak as the hosts announced that the best sketch to win a bespoke Swati Modo shoe!! So while some of the guests were grilling meet and making water chestnuts…. others were busy creating their dream-shoe on the white canvass…(Some inspirations there Swati ?? 
)

Yes!! We have talked alot and seen alot about this colour blocking trend last year…But the trend is so refreshing and there is so much that one can do with it that it’s just not going out of fashion!!! I couldn’t stop myself from observing that not only does pastel and Neon work for this season, but colour-blocking pastels with pastels and pastels with Neons and Neons with Neons also is on the block for fashionista’s all over the world..I just had to write a post about it.. Moreover summers seem so much in need of Colour rite now.. there is a riot of colours amongst the celebrity events and step-out’s making the shutterbugs go crazy. To me this trend of fashion for 2012 seems like a teen-age pretty little girl who has painted all sorts and forms of colours one can imagine on a plain canvass.. Lets go through the basic A, B, C of colour Blocking trend of 2012..
